Night falls over an ancient forest where shadows come alive.

You are a lone traveler, a knight or a princess, lost inside a dark and haunted labyrinth. Somewhere beyond the mist, a distant castle offers your only hope of survival.

But reaching it will not be easy.

Explore a randomly generated castle maze, avoid deadly traps and escape the restless ghosts hunting you through the darkness. Every step may bring you closer to safety, or lead you deeper into danger.

Your heartbeat grows faster as the spirits approach. Watch your surroundings, use your minimap, collect the keys and find the path to the castle before your life runs out.

Castle Maze: Escape is a retro-inspired first-person 3D maze adventure combining exploration, survival, fear and strategy.

What’s new

Major gameplay update! Maze size, traps and difficulty now scale with progression. Added collectible amulets and talismans with special powers, new ghost and owl ambience sounds, dedicated death screens, improved trap placement, difficulty balancing, early high-score statistics, and visual changes every 4 levels. Maximum progression is now 20 levels.
