Dozens of new bills are introduced in the National Assembly every day. However, only a few of these bills affect me and my organization, and finding those few required scouring the legislative information system daily.
Catbell is a bill monitoring service that has been doing this work for you since 2019. Once you register your keywords of interest, we will send you notifications and emails whenever a new bill meeting your criteria is submitted.
Catbell is a private service operated by Catbell Company Inc. It does not represent the National Assembly or government agencies, nor does it have any affiliated relationships with them. All information sources are listed under "Information Sources" at the end of the description.
■ How to Use
1. Register your topics of interest as keywords
Common terms such as "platform labor," "industrial accidents," or "personal information" are sufficient. You can manage multiple keywords as "bundles" and create conditions such as "(A or B) and exclude C and D." If you are unsure how to start, you can simply copy and use bundles that are widely subscribed to by other users.
2. Notifies You When New Bills Are Submitted
When a bill meeting your criteria is proposed, you will receive notifications via the app and email. Since you receive organized briefings rather than a list, you won't miss the flow of events even if you don't open the app every day.
3. Follow the Process from Proposal to Resolution
You can continuously check whether the bills you have saved have passed the subcommittee, been ratified, or been discarded due to the expiration of the term.
■ Key Features
· AI Briefing
We provide a human-readable explanation of amendment directives, such as "Change '30 days' in Article 12, Paragraph 3 of the '○○ Act' to '15 days'." It includes a one-line summary, key issues, an explanation of how the provisions change, and definitions of difficult legal terms. For bills with a broad scope of revision, we group the changes by topic to display them at a glance.
· Bill Feed and Full Text Search
You can browse recently submitted bills on a single screen and search not only by title but also by the reasons for proposal and the full text. It is also possible to narrow down your search by the proposing legislator, the relevant committee, and the processing status.
** · Monitoring Administrative Legislation (Legislative Notices)
We also monitor amendments to enforcement decrees and rules, which are just as important as laws. You can receive keywords for proposals announced by each ministry, and we will notify you when the deadline for submitting opinions approaches.
· Meeting Minutes and Real-time Subtitles
You can search for specific remarks in the minutes of standing committees and plenary sessions, and follow ongoing meetings with real-time subtitles.
· National Assembly Member Information
You can view bills proposed by each member, their affiliation and career history, as well as related videos and statistics.
· Regular Reports
We send you a summary of what happened over the past week, month, and year regarding your topics of interest.
