I am a long-time user of Scratch, but having limited access to a PC, I have found this app amazing and fun to use on my phone. I mention Scratch as a relevant source for tutorials and a helpful community, for those who are PocketCode beginners wanting to create, but need a hand to get started. I have tried several of the uploaded programs and have seen some impressively polished work. Purists argue, quite rightly, that this will not teach you how to write elegant code, but it is powerful enough to give you a medium to express your creative ideas. I'm addicted! If code blocks are new to you, take some time to explore and play around. Become addicted to PocketCode too!
This is great so far. Although there is one problem. When I go over 30 backgrounds, it goes back to the start of the background. For example, I put a headphone as the 1st background then I place a rice cooker at the 31th background and then I place 30th background as noodles. There is 31 'Next Background' bricks. For some people, it works and IDK why. If this is a bug , please fix it.If it is how much the 'Next Background' is, please give an answer. Thank you in advance.
It's helpful for me because i want to make my own game but its hard to figure stuff out there should be a tourtorial in stead od the show evrything then give them nothing to start with and try to figure stuff out if they forgot so ya
I downloaded it to just learn basics because my 8 year old wanted to make his own game. Had it for 3 days and made 2 games already. Loads of fun highly recommend for all ages
Great app for all ages. I have been experiencing no problems whatsoever. Can you add some full music tracks so I can use them in programs, and not just instrument solos?
When I try the collision scripts, they do not work.
