Miserable. Can't download what I paid for. Can't browse any climbs in the areas I purchased. Have to scroll through dozens of areas I'm not interested in and didn't pay for.

Hi Eric, we just redesigned our app and have TONS of new guidebooks in it. We would love if you try the app again. It's worth it now. You can email us at nextascentguides@gmail.com if you have any problem accessing your older guidebooks. We would love you to try us again now that our app is re-done :)

Update 6-2025: Nicely done Rob! What an improvement, GUI is very responsive, integrated Google pay, pictures are high quality...! Now I have to get out and do some climbing and test it at the crag. 4 star only because I haven't fully tested it. 2019: this is awful yet has potential. You have to buy the guidebooks but it redirects you to a website. This is all super sketchy.

Hi, we just completely re-did our climbing app and users are loving it. We would love for you to try us again. We had issues back in 2019 when you tried Next Ascent but we are completely new and redesigned now. If you have any problems accessing old guidebooks just email us at nextascentguides@gmail.com. Excellent pictures with route labels. Although the app isn't comprehensive, for the craigs that are provided, I prefer this app over mountain project.

Thanks so much for the review. We will be adding a bunch of new guidebooks for NJ, and PA this month. We also have new maps coming that will add interactive illustrations of the crags. Thanks again we really appreciate you using our app.
