Smell Pittsburgh is a mobile phone app designed to engage Pittsburgh residents in tracking pollution odors across our region. The app also includes a map-view showing smell reports submitted in the area on a given date. This allows residents to track where odors are frequently concentrated, and link those smell events to poor air quality in, or upwind from, those areas.

Great tool for reporting polluted air, please use it!

Can't edit the time or location of the report. Therefore useless unless you want to stop what you're doing and stand in the middle of the smell while you report it.

It is a good idea, but needs a lot of work. 3 points I want to make: I would've expected more pollution information in general. It's only useful if you literally live in downtown pgh. 90% of the reports are people complaining about their neighbors campfires, You know the types, the types of people who will call the cops at the drop of a hat. At least that's the impression I got.
