surprisingly, i liked it. the puzzles were decently challenging (some are pretty easy but it's well balanced) while i still almost never had to use the hints. my only critique is that the items you pick up aren't labeled so sometimes i had no idea what i was trying to use, which is the one time i had to use the hint. i hadn't realized the straw for the tapioca was a straw. other than that, nice game. you can finish it in probably an hour or two as well, so won't keep you for forever.

**uptade* I just finished the bonus game and couldn't be more pleased - kudos to the developers! Also, I am changing it to 5 stars now, since they got it fixed last night.** Beautifully made, the puzzles are challenging enough to keep you interested. The hints are very helpful and I like it that they don't give you the answer. The only reason I won't give 5 stars is because the game crashes a lot, but still I would recommend it. Cheers!

I've played a lot of jammswork's escape rooms but this one has surpassed a lot of them by far. It's complicated, the puzzles aren't terribly easy but aren't terribly difficult, and it's long (I didn't even expect the part2!). Only issue is that you may need some overall Japanese folklore knowledge, especially with the Youkai section (i.e. The umbrella youkai, the cucumber goes to a specific youkai, etc)
