SayThread is a voice keyboard for Android. It also runs on Windows and Linux. Speak in any app and get clean text.
SayThread writes in 27 languages. Mix English with Urdu or Hindi without losing your English, or write in Roman Urdu and Roman Hindi.
Turn on Untangle and the ums, repeats and false starts go, so you can say it messy and get what you meant.
Talk it through with Riff. Tap the Bubble in the keyboard and say what you need. Riff talks back, asks what it needs to know, then writes the draft where you're typing. You see what you both say on screen, and you can check a draft before it goes in.
Go beyond the first draft:
• Rewrite selected text by voice.
• Right after you dictate, tap Grammar, Formal, Friendly or Gen-Z to restyle it.
• Draft a reply to a message you've copied.
• Keep a personal dictionary of names, words and corrections. It syncs across your devices.
• Transcribe an audio file and get a recap with a summary, action items and chapters. Recordings from SayThread on your computer show up too.
Needle (optional). Keep your own keyboard and still talk instead of typing: Needle puts a voice button beside any text box. To do this, SayThread uses Android's AccessibilityService API. It notices when a text box is focused, reads that box's text and the app's name to place your words, and types what you say into it. It never reads password fields or the rest of your screen, and the box's text stays on your phone. If you turn on "Let Riff read the text you're working on", a Riff you start sends that text to help write. Needle stays off until you turn it on and agree in the app.
The AI tools and sync need a free account, which includes daily online minutes. Without an account, dictation runs on your phone.
Your privacy:
• Keep dictation on your phone if you want your voice to stay there.
• We don't sell your data, and there are no ads.
• You get product news only if you opt in.
