The app itself seems pretty good and does as advertised, allowing for real time translation in chat. It is stupidly expensive though, with a premium membership only giving you 300 words a day in translation. Does seem to be a lot of scammers, possibly bots, that are more than happy to eat up those credits for you, leaving you to buy some expensive bundle of words to continue the chats you do want to have.

This all is ridiculous that you have to pay for a membership, but then also have to pay a fortune for translation characters to be able to talk to people. And they run out very fast, so you have to keep spending money. It's total BS. It's nothing but a cash grab. You should be able to have unlimited translation characters without having to pay extra if you're already paying for a membership. Do better!!

Everybody wants to chat but nobody can understand English - even when they say they can. You have to buy "characters" at a very unfavourable exchange rate and Chinese seems to be the common dialect. They disappear very quickly and I suspect there are a lot of bots here. I am not sure yet how many of these profiles are real but as most are 8,000kms away it's a pretty safe bet you'll never meet.
