CrashWatch is a free market monitoring app that helps you monitor sharp declines in the KOSPI, KOSDAQ, and NASDAQ and identify the causes of those drops. It was created for those who cannot continuously monitor prices during trading hours, or for those who want to verify whether a stock has fallen due to market influence or specific individual issues.

■ Market Crash Alerts Without Opening the App

You can view Lv1–Lv5 alerts when one of the major indices reaches the crash threshold. Allow notifications and select your desired minimum alert level.

• Lv1 Watch: Single index -3%

• Lv2 Interest: -4% or 3 consecutive trading days of decline

• Lv3 Alert: -5% or 4 consecutive trading days of decline

• Lv4 Extreme Shock: -7% or 5 consecutive trading days of decline

• Lv5 Blackout: -10% or 6 or more consecutive trading days of decline

The consecutive decline criteria are applied together with a cumulative decline of -3% or more. This is an alert based on the market index, not a notification informing you of every price drop for individual stocks.

■ Determining Market-wide Impact vs. Stock-Specific Issues

We analyze the cause of the decline based on stock and market movements, as well as news and public disclosures. The distinction between external and individual negative factors is a reference analysis to aid investment decisions. If the evidence is insufficient, it will not be marked as verified.

■ Check Market Trends Even on Days Without Sharp Drops

Check domestic and international index and stock quotes and charts, watchlist stocks, KOSPI 200 Night Futures, and futures reference indicators. You can also examine pre-market and market-closing reports, as well as trends following past alerts. Report notifications can be selected separately from market sharp drop alerts. Night Futures are reference indicators and are not included in the input for market sharp drop alerts.

■ How to Get Started After Installation

1. Launch the app and allow notifications.

2. Select the minimum alert level in Settings.

3. Verify that a test notification is received on this device.

Key screens, such as indices, quotes, and market alerts, can be accessed without logging in. Google login is required for some features, such as AI signals, statistics, reports, and watchlists, as well as for device synchronization. Major features are free, and advertisements may be displayed on the service.
