Curious Reader Parents brings free, offline early-literacy games to any phone — no internet required (once setup), no account, no login.
Built by the nonprofit Curious Learning, Curious Reader Parents is a home for two learning experiences:
Feed The Monster — a playful phonics game that teaches letter sounds and blending
Interactive Books — an illustrated library of decodable books kids can read (and listen to) themselves
Both are available in more than a dozen languages and dozens of language packs, with more added regularly — no app update required.
Built for real-world use, not just a Wi-Fi demo
Works with no internet. After a one-time setup, every game and book plays completely offline — perfect for homes and classrooms with unreliable or no data plans.
No account, no login, no password. A child can start playing in a few taps, with no profile setup in the way.
Share content phone-to-phone. Already have Curious Reader Parents set up on one phone? Hand the app to another phone via Nearby Share — no app store and no data plan needed on the receiving device.
Built for parents, too. A simple parent dashboard shows weekly reading time, a learning-goal tracker, and per-game progress, so you can see how your child has been doing.
