About this app

eHymnal is a Christian hymnbook application designed for personal worship, hymn study, and congregational singing.

Main features:
• Browse and search hymns by hymn number, title, lyrics, or keywords.
• Display hymn lyrics in English and Chinese.
• Adjustable font size and language preferences.
• Built-in MIDI playback for hymn tunes.
• Playback controls including play, pause, stop, tempo adjustment, volume control, and key transposition.
• Optional automatic scrolling synchronized with hymn playback.
• Offline access to hymn lyrics and MIDI files after installation.

No account, registration, login, subscription, or in-app purchase is required. All app functionality is available immediately after launch.

Testing Instructions:

1. Launch the app.
2. Select any hymn from the hymn list.
3. Tap the Play button to hear MIDI playback.
4. Open Settings to adjust tempo, transpose, volume, language, and font size.
5. Use Search to locate hymns by number or keyword.

The app is intended for church members, choir members, and individual users who wish to read, study, and sing hymns.

All content included in the application is authorized for use by the developer.
