DOCumenter is the companion app to the DOCumenter medical documentation platform. Record your consultations or dictate your clinical notes from your phone, then transfer the transcript to your computer for document generation.

HOW IT WORKS

Ambient listening captures the entire consultation, or switch to dictation mode for your structured post-exam notes.
Freely pause and resume: answer the phone, manage an interruption, and pick up where you left off.
Your speech is transcribed with intelligent medical transformation: patient language becomes precise clinical terminology, Swiss medications are correctly identified, and abbreviations are expanded.
Transfer the transcript to your web session with end-to-end encryption for multi-source document generation.

WHAT THE APP DOES

• Ambient recording with automatic speaker separation (doctor, patient, accompanying persons)
• Structured dictation mode for post-exam notes and clinical findings
• Recognition of Swiss medical terminology — "piptazo" becomes piperacillin/tazobactam, "la crève" becomes "état flupal" (flu-like state), and "Le coeur va bien" becomes "B1-B2 bien frappés" (well hit B1-B2) in the generated report.

WHAT THE APP DOES NOT DO

Store anything. Ever.

DOCumenter operates on a "stethoscope" model: your audio is processed, transcribed, and then immediately forgotten. No recording on your phone. No patient data on our servers. No cloud. Nothing to hack, nothing to leak, nothing to seize through legal means.

100% Swiss infrastructure (Tier IV data center, Crissier VD).
Zero international data transfers. Compliant with nLPD/LPD and Art. 321 of the Swiss Criminal Code (medical confidentiality).

WHO IS IT FOR?

This application requires an active DOCumenter subscription (documenter.ch). It is a companion to the DOCumenter web platform: transcripts are transferred to the web for report generation, document analysis, and TARDOC billing.
