Imagine you had a system to order food at a resteraunt by writing your name on a piece of paper, and it all works out nicely. However, one day, it gets replaced by a tablet that you put your order into, but it only allows you to order once a week, ordering 5 items at most, and they have to still manually accept the order, Even worse, every order you place gets stored in a database. No one likes it, but it keeps getting used, since the CEO paid money for it. This is an analogy for securlypass.

takes too long to set up if someone needs to leave in an emergency, students cant end passes teachers create, teachers need to approve before leaving making it take longer, limited time even on people who might need a longer time out. overall just a frustrating program when paper passes are infinitely easier. I can see the benefits (being able to figure out where everyone is if something happens) but other than that, its not worth it.

The app won't even open. I want to be able to use it on my phone so I'm not always tethered to my computer for accepting and ending passes. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled it twice. When I try to open it, it immediately closes. Why have an app if it doesn't work??? Very disappointed. I have a pixel 8. Is that the problem? Is the app not up to date with new tech?
