E-MaP is a tool which let the government and their management to track the progress of a perticular planning which was proposed and approved by various technical functionaries (Junior Technical Assistent, Block Development Officer, Engineer etc.) at Panchayat, District and State level on the GIS based planning and monitoring process.

This tool complete the process in 3 major steps which are
1. Proposal Planning: A project proposal is the initial framework for establishing the concept of the project and includes what you want to accomplish, an explanation of objectives, and plans for achieving them. It is common for a project proposal to include a list of activities or tasks that will be associated with the project.

2. Project Implementation: Project implementation (or project execution) is the phase where visions and plans become reality. This is the logical conclusion, after evaluating, deciding, visioning, planning, applying for funds and finding the financial resources of a project.

3. Project Monitoring: By monitoring the proper execution of the various project tasks, the work and results of your collaborators, you ensure that your team is effective and that the defined objectives are achieved.
