About this app

FungoApp is the app for mushroom hunters who want to find their spots, season after season. Save your areas on the map, find them with your compass, and always know if it's rained enough to return.

Designed for the forest: it works even without an internet connection.

🍄 YOUR MUSHROOM AREAS
Mark the spots where you've found mushrooms on the map, with the type (porcini, chanterelle, avolo, chiodino, and many others), a name, and a description. The areas are private: only you can see them.

🗺️ OFFLINE MAPS OF ITALY AND SWITZERLAND
When you launch it for the first time, you download the map package (about 2 GB), and from then on, the topographic map with contour lines and trails works even without a signal. You can rotate the map to match your direction, like a compass.

🧭 COMPASS TO THE AREA
Choose an area and the app shows you the distance and direction, updated in real time, until you reach it.

🌧️ WEATHER FOR YOUR AREAS
For each area, see the rainfall over the last 7 and 14 days and the forecast for the next 3: promising areas are highlighted.

📅 CALENDAR AND MOON
Seasonal mushrooms month by month, for Italy and Switzerland, and today's moon phase with the next full moon and new moon.

✅ VISITS AND STATISTICS
Mark when you visit an area to see how long it's been since you've been there, and view your foraging statistics.

🔒 PRIVACY FIRST
No ads, no tracking, no data sharing. Your location stays on your phone: only the coordinates of the areas you choose to save reach the server. You can delete your account at any time from the app.

All you need is an email address to create a free account.

Remember: Always have your collected mushrooms checked by an expert mycologist.

• La mappa può ruotare con il telefono: tocca la bussola con la "N" per orientarla lungo il sentiero, toccala di nuovo per il nord fisso
• Icone dei funghi più grandi sulla mappa
• Bussola: tipo di fungo e descrizione della zona sotto il nome
• Download delle mappe più affidabile: riprende se si interrompe e lo schermo resta attivo
• Password: accettato anche il carattere @ e messaggi di errore più leggibili
