This app used to be an excellent tool. I've used it to inventory all my climbing/outdoor gear for years. When I went to add some new gear, I found previously free functionality of the app now locked behind a subscription. I used to be able to upload photos of gear (which seems like a basic requirement for an inventory program). Now I'm being charged an outrageous price of £24.20 PER YEAR just to include photos of my gear. I'm uninstalling this app and going back to a spreadsheet.

I would add an option to add multiple pictures of a single piece of gear. EDIT: Developer reached out and gave instructions on how to upload more photos. Mostly using it for diving gear, as almost everything we use has a serial number somewhere. Very easy to keep track of everything, and the ability to export the gear list into a CSV, to use in Excel is a fantastic feature as well.

I am an outdoor enthusiast (caving, climbing, canyoning, hill walking, skiing, mountain biking...), a rope technician and co-owner of an outdoor activity and education company, so have a wide range of gear, and lots of it. GearLog is really useful and easy to use. I only wish I had discovered it much earlier and didn't have to enter all my equipment in one go, but that is my problem. I even submitted a request to make things easier for me and it was implemented a few days later. Amazing! Keep up the great work Kit.
