Love this! I was so stoked to find out there is a sequel to the Trial by Fire! I love the storyline and the characters are so endearing. The choices got to be really tough at some points too. The only problem I had with this was that Stunner seemed super out of character this time. I'm not sure if my saved game just didn't transfer over properly or what... but in the first game, he was really cold toward my character, and in this one he was all gushy and almost like a totally different person.

So soooooo much better than the 1st book!! A great improvement! Never have I felt actual fear reading those scenes towards the end. The twists here n there keeps you on your toes, n I absolutely LOVE it!!!! It's refreshing as well being a 'weak' hero as opposed to being an indestructible hero. You are limited to what u can do in the grand scheme of things. Author did good in setting this up. Overall, a GREAT read!! Can't wait too see how it all ends in Book 3!

Expected great after reading the 1st vol. Yet remained a failure in raising even a tiny bit of excitement while reading.. At certain parts of the story.. I felt an eerie of recklessness behind those choices, maybe due to lack of thrill indulging materials that are required with the story.. Way too disappointing as compared to the 1st vol.
