Customize your powers and be the ghost you never thought you would become. You are the apparition who stands in the darkest corners of the manor and the poltergeist who plays with the furniture. Invade dreams and turn them into nightmares, and possess people to control their actions. Shape the destiny of those living in the place you once called home.

Speaking of them, you will not only meet the Brooks family but delve into the intimate details of their everyday lives. Samantha is a writer who moved in with her family in search of inspiration for her next novel—and she might not like what she finds. Samantha is married to Michael, a nurse anesthetist haunted—among other things—by his past. Ollie and Amber, the teenage siblings, try to find their place in the world while living with a dead person. Together, this family will become the key to understanding your past life—and humanity itself.

Ratings and reviews

It was great... until the last few chapters. It started to be obvious that they were rushing to finish, with an abrupt final appearance of the villain and slapped together endings. Up until that point you could see the love and care put into the decisions... but for all those decisions to amount to just this weird, rapid ending sequence, it felt awkward and kinda bland. It's a good game that didn't exactly know where it was going so it sort of slowly died at the end from pacing and bug issues.

the simple fact you can be nice ghost is legit the best thing, Heres an example- somewhere between the game, the mother asks her son if the ghost harmed him and he say something like, No, I think she cleaned my room though - which is just perfect xD 😆

Binged it in two nights and it left me wanting more. The characters are strong, the writing is excellent, the plot holds up very well and the premise of being a ghost is delightful. Only issue was a few continuity errors but they were mostly just along the lines of "respond in two different ways and everyone acts as if that's your first time." Also the epilogues were really fun. 9.8/10
