Beautifully written. My initial confusion to begin with over background details was wiped away by the story progressing with well-timed pieces of information. Not only is this a classic choose your own adventure but also the author wrote it to be replayed multiple times with new insights to unravel each playthrough. Truly an art!

Wow just wow, its such an incredible piece of literature and there is quite a bit of replayability within it considering the questions asked for the book 2 demo had things I never came across in my playthrough. I like the perspectives game it has going for it and i do hope eventually the entirety of book 2 is released as it truly deserves to be reborn as the title suggests. Cant find any recent information on it unfortunately, but i hope its not scrapped.

Fun magic system. Particularly loved the Alchemist path. Writing is good, setting is good but characters are relatively flat and generic. There is nothing special about any of them really except for the villain. The game is also rather short and linear with very few diverging paths except for certain major choices. Worth the $2.99 price tag for sure but not sure it would be at full price. Still, it is fun and I'll get the next one when it comes out.
