I regret paying for this. I've played several of the novel games before and they always make you want to replay it at least once. They are interesting and have a decent story at the very least. This was short, lacking in quality and just generally disappointed.

That pretty much sums it up. It's not worth the $2.99 I've come to pay right off the bat with Cog (as I've never really hated any of their published works). This one is just.... Well, the idea behind it is good, but the execution was horrendous. It took no longer than 90 minutes to read, the player-charecter had absolutely no personality, and neither did any other chacter, and to top it off, the choices seemed pointless and few and far between. This is the 2nd piece of trash I've read this week from CoG...

Its a short story but i kinda liked it and would love a sequel. In the story you are just some person who found a book of magic and signed a contract. From then on magic begins. My overall concern is the introduction of thing that only have a use once. SPOILER: early on you get a familiar. Soon after you walk in the forrest, find a unicorn. This is the last interaction with your familiar where you most likely decide to make it exaline the unicorn. You will gain unicorn hair and never see the faliliar or hear about the hair agai
