About this app

The application is aimed at native speakers of the Chukchi language, as well as for those who are interested in it. It includes a translation of the Book of the Prophet Jonah into the Chukchi language, carried out by a group of specialists from the Institute of Bible Translation in the field of biblical studies and linguistics.

This offline application provides an opportunity to become familiar with the Holy Scriptures. It contains both the translation into the Chukchi language and the Russian Synodal translation, which can be connected in parallel if desired.

The application includes colorful illustrations and also allows you to listen to audio. To make it easier to follow the text, the spoken sentence is highlighted in color in the Chukchi text when listening.
