Introduction

This app uses Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) numerical weather prediction (NWP) models for global forecasting.

Currently we provide hourly rainfall weather prediction for 7 days, updated after every 6 hours @ 03 and 15 hrs EAT and for 5 days, updated after every 6 hours @ 09 and 21 hrs EAT.

The weather data is provided at a spatial resolution of 13 km.

Hourly weather data to be provided in the near future include temperature, humidity and wind at 2m above ground.

How to use

1. You can use the search button, on the centre top of the map, below location text information, to locate your address, using Google Place Search. A marker will appear zoomed to your address, after which you can click the marker info window, which will retrieve hourly weather prediction from our weather processing servers (currently we only provide rainfall, in the future we will provide temperature, humidity and wind). Note: You address is not stored on your servers or shared with 3rd party applications, but deleted after the query.

2. If you have location enabled at the start of the app, you can tap on the red fab icon, on the bottom right of the map, which will retrieve weather prediction from our servers and display on the next page, where you will be able to select a date you want information from.
