RailCal provides powerful offline Train Search functionality for Indian Railways, along with offline train timetables originally published on Indian Railways' official websites (listed below). In addition to these features, RailCal also grants access to the popular India Rail Info Travel Forum.

RailCal shows Indian Railways TimeTables & Seat/Berth Availability Calendar fetched from one or more of the following publicly available Indian Railways official Govt websites:
1. https://www.indianrail.gov.in - Official Train Enquiry website - This website has sporadic outages, based on server load. Often down around midnight IST and late night India time.
2. https://enquiry.indianrail.gov.in/ntes/ - National Train Enquiry website - This website has sporadic outages, based on server load. Often down around midnight IST and late night India time.
3. https://www.irctc.co.in/nget/train-search - Official IRCTC ticket booking website. This website has sporadic outages, based on server load. Often down around midnight IST and late night India time.

it's been one of my favorites! I have again re-installed it after trying many others available on the Play Store. it gives me complete info about all the trains passing between the two stations & the details needed! however if you could add general ticket and ticket booking etc (including platform tickets) it'd become an ideal app!! all the best, team!! keep it up!

The app is not opening up after latest update.

nice app but underrated I recommend this app for every frequent traveler. It also has different quotas.
