About this app
Infrared Explorer turns your phone and a FLIR ONE thermal camera into a science instrument. Capture thermal images and videos, measure temperature anywhere in the frame, graph how it changes over time and across distance, and share what you find.

• FLIR ONE Edge and Edge Pro over Wi-Fi
No thermal camera? The built-in Video Store has dozens of recorded experiments you can open and analyze with the same tools, so the app is useful on its own.
Measure and analyze
• Spot, line, and area probes with live temperature readouts
• Temperature over time and temperature across distance graphs
• Isotherms, palettes, and an adjustable temperature span
• Export your data and images
Infrared Street View
Record a thermal panorama of a building or a street and explore it on a map, alongside panoramas shared by others.
Classes and sharing
Teachers can create a class, hand out assignments, and review what students submit. Signing in is optional and only needed for cloud features: uploading your work, browsing the community Showcase, joining a class, or generating an AI-drafted lab report from one of your own recordings.
Privacy
Without signing in, nothing leaves your device except map tiles. You choose what to upload and what to make public, and you can delete your account and everything it uploaded from inside the app. Privacy policy: https://ie.intofuture.org/privacy
