Solid, elegant There's not much to it, but pound-for-pound this is really among the best Android apps I've ever used. It's simple, does exactly what it's supposed to do, never crashes, and despite its apparent lack of polish actually has a surprising number of ease-of-use features that set it apart from far more commercial apps. As long as Android runs it this will be my go-to card app.
Thanks Carl.... Not the most hi-tech version but thanks nonetheless for a genuinely ad-free solitaire. Just uninstalled the MobilityWare version because the advertising was a huge data-drain. If you ever update this app, perhaps you could make the cards a little larger on the screen and perhaps offer a "left handed" option where the card stack is on the opposite side. These are tiny issues though. Thanks again.
Ok for tablet but not phone No ads or permissions! Does not maximise space. Specially with lots of cards, it is hard to see without tapping on the series grouped. Smooth Spider has better card size and layout and no need for magnifying glass.
The rules for 40 Thieves are wrong If there are no empty slots you are supposed to be able to move 1 card, 1 empty slot 2 cards, 2 empty slots 3 cards etc. After it wouldn't let me move 2 cards into an empty slot I quit playing because there wasn't any point.
Just a game. No extra crap I never review apps. But this one deserves credit for not needing any special permission or bothering you with ads. Just the game. Imagine that in today's world. Kudos to the developer for providing us with just what we want and nothing more. And all for free!
Strange Rule Conundrum when Playing 40 Theives In 40 thieves, when I have a single open space, I am unable to transfer two cards to that space. I get a rule violation prompt that states that I'm only allowed to move one card. However, I am able to move those same two cards to another pile will no problems whatsoever. I've lost a few rounds because of this snafu. But overall, the game is well-designed and well-built, looks great, and features no ads whatsoever. I'd give this game a perfect score if it weren't for the strange rule situation in 40 thieves!
Added portrait screen support.
