The digitisation of the PAL Card, other IPAF qualifications and the logbook is here! Available free to all new and existing IPAF operators.

IPAF’s ePAL app is your new digital wallet to store and share your IPAF powered access licences and qualifications, including the PAL Card for mobile elevating work platform (MEWP), mast climbing work platform (MCWP) and hoist operators. Competent Assessed Persons (CAP), MEWPs for Managers, Site Assessment (for MEWP Selection) all can be added.

Easily record your operating experience on powered access machines through the digital logbook, giving you an overview of the time spent operating multiple machines.

Have the latest powered access safety and best practice tips and advice in your pocket, and get access to your operator safety guide or site safety guide based on your linked licences.

Utterly useless, it won't work at all if you don't have chrome browser to log in but that took a while to figure out and is not my preferred browser. I'll be screen grabbing the relevant data and deleting this ASAP. This is also incompatible with working in areas with no phone signal. A regular occurrence with site offices.

This app is a disgrace. 40€ for a physical card but the app absolutely sucks and then you seriously got the audacity to put ads in it. SHAME ON YOU

Very poor, nearly unusable interface. It takes me on average 3 attempts to log in, each time having to restart the app because of white screens or error pages. The app doesn't remember your login information so you have to sign in every time which is where the problem is. This app would work well in addition to a physical card but is most definitely NOT A REPLACEMENT and charging £40 for a physical card after I just spent £300 is a joke
