The digitisation of the PAL Card, other IPAF qualifications and the logbook is here! Available free to all new and existing IPAF operators.

IPAF’s ePAL app is your new digital wallet to store and share your IPAF powered access licences and qualifications, including the PAL Card for mobile elevating work platform (MEWP), mast climbing work platform (MCWP) and hoist operators. Competent Assessed Persons (CAP), MEWPs for Managers, Site Assessment (for MEWP Selection) all can be added.

Easily record your operating experience on powered access machines through the digital logbook, giving you an overview of the time spent operating multiple machines.

I use Samsung, and my default browser was Samsung Internet. I was unable to sign up as the verification would flicket and I would not be able the get any furthur then that. Even after reinstsling the app and restarting my phone. What I did to solve the problem, I needed to change my internet browser to google chrome, and from there on I had no ptoblem.

Have to completely wipe app data every time I want to open the app or it simply crashes the second I tap it. Staggering that this is the primary means of providing certification from a global industry-leading standards organisation, especially considering this is now meant to be their sole way of providing said certification, completely replacing physical cards (never had a physical card crash and become totally unusable on me). Ridiculous honestly, hire some competent devs ffs

Dreadful. It cannot recognise the browser, I have never been able to log on. I have uninstalled and rebooted it several times and failed to ever get past the front screen. I am being asked to prove I have completed the training which I paid for independently, and cannot operate the machines until then. Having completed an NPORs tele handler course, a plastic card with digital back up allows me to work on events sites in minutes. I've gone back to the training company for paper evidence.
