A church that dreams of becoming Christians, becoming family, and becoming neighbors.

We cannot help but be thankful to God.

Through the difficult COVID-19 times and the immense challenge of relocating our worship center, we successfully overcame this difficult time thanks to God's gracious guidance and the beautiful unity and service of our community members.

God has given us a new home and a new opportunity. This is likely because He desires for us to embrace new hope and reveal His heart and will.

First and foremost, our first hope in God is to "become Christians." This is the root and starting point of our faith. Through a clear understanding of the gospel of the kingdom of God, we live as children of God, in living fellowship with Christ, our King. We become believers who have a story of Jesus that we can live and share.

And our second hope is to "become family." The only place that has remained the same during this COVID-19 era is the family. Churches that remain mere organizations, without becoming families, will increasingly lose their vitality. Our world needs families who are connected, laughing, and crying together, not a faith life of "neither close nor far." I dream of a community that becomes a family that comforts and consoles us even when we return exhausted from the world's struggles.

Finally, the hope I dream of in God is to "become neighbors." The church is the only place that exists for the benefit of others, not for our own benefit. Rather than a church that celebrates its own celebration in Macheon-dong, the most remote and challenging part of Seoul, I want to be a meaningful community that reaches out to our neighbors. A church where our neighbors can say, "I wish this church were still here."

I dream of a church of disciples, God's alternative that beautifully reveals the kingdom of God in a broken world. I look forward to and anticipate your participation in this community.
