HOW IT WORKS

Real-Time Proximity Alerts — As you move, K9Alert checks your live location against nearby reports and alerts you with sound and vibration when you're approaching a reported area.
One-Tap Anonymous Reporting — Spot a possible dog threat? Report it instantly. A marker is pinned to the map at that location, completely anonymously.
Verified Removal — If a dog threat is no longer active, users can mark it "Dog Gone." Once verified on 3 different days, the marker disappears, keeping the map current and reliable.

ONLY REPORT ACTUAL SAFETY THREATS

To keep the map clean and highly reliable, K9Alert is strictly for reporting genuine safety hazards. Do not report friendly, tethered, or calm dogs. Only report dogs showing hostile behaviors such as:

Charging, chasing, or running at you aggressively
Snapping, growling, or showing teeth
Constant aggressive fence-charging or territorial barking
Loose, unrestrained dogs acting unpredictably near paths

A reliable map depends on everyone reporting responsibly — false or exaggerated reports hurt the tool for everyone who depends on it.
