CITY CYCLING App: Smart on the move. Track your routes easily via GPS and the kilometres are credited to your team and your municipality

PLEASE NOTE:
Please make sure that all necessary permissions are granted on your device so that the app also runs in the background. You can check this in your settings: "Settings/Battery/..." or "Settings/Device/Battery". If necessary, the STADTRADELN app must be added as an exception to the permissions.

Xiaomi/Huawei devices in particular are often rigorous about apps that run in the background and sometimes terminate them automatically. Please check this under: Settings -> Apps -> Manage apps -> STADTRADELN app: Autostart: "on" Permissions: "Get location" Power saving: "no restrictions".

NEW: GAMIFICATION THROUGH ACHIEVEMENTS
If you cycle regularly using the tracking function, you will be rewarded in form of awards in three categories.

TRACKING
The routes you cycle will be tracked via GPS and the kilometres credited to your team and municipality. Furthermore your tracks help to improve the local cycling infrastructure. All routes will be provided to the local traffic planers anonymised and in different visualisations. The more kilometres tracked, the more useful the results will be!

CYCLE LOG
Here you can keep track of the routes you cycled during the campaign period.

TEAM OVERVIEW
You are able to quickly check who in your team is cycling how much and how you compare to other teams in the results overview.

TEAM CHAT
Communicate with your team and motivate others to cycle even more in the intuitive team chat.

RADar! REPORTING PLATFORM
Using this feature, you can draw municipal authorities’ attention to problematic and/or dangerous places along cycle routes. Simply position a pin on the street map and provide a brief explanation of the reason for your report. The information is automatically forwarded to the responsible municipality which can then take the appropriate action.

Ratings and reviews

The amount of bugs... Text doesn't always get displayed correctly (starts out of screen). Loading gets stuck. Opening "settings" says you are logged out (but previous page says you are logged in). Pulling down (refreshing) in settings suddenly logs you in... When you open settings, sometimes you can't go back and have to close the app and reopen it. Filtering in "results", "total" doesn't work. And that's not all. Didn't log any routes for now but at the moment I'm not expecting much.

The tracking part works just fine, but for some reason team and community rankings don't load in my app. Maybe it is due to my phone, but I haven't figured out what would cause that. Other than that, the app is fine. EDIT: The support team reached out super fast and a full restart fixed the non working features, so full stars from me. Thanks!

Has not record a ride yet. It tracks my progress and when I push stop it doesn't log my ride. Added rides that it didn't record in the routes section no problem. Next day the same section says I have logged no kilometers, yet in my team score board my kilometer total is there. Today the add routes button is missing and now I can't add rides I am tracking with my Garmin. Also some sections say I have to log in. I am logged in!!! Same result if I log out and log back in. This app is a glitchy mess
