About this app

KoboCollect is the free Android data entry app for use with KoboToolbox. It is based on the open source ODK Collect app and is used for primary data collection in humanitarian emergencies and other challenging field environments. With this app you enter data from interviews or other primary data -- online or offline. There are no limits on the number of forms, questions, or submissions (including photos and other media) that can be saved on your device.

This app requires a free KoboToolbox account: Before you can collect data create a free account with your computer on www.kobotoolbox.org and create a blank form for data entry. Once your form is created and active, configure this app to point to your account, following the instructions in our tool.

To visualize, analyze, share, and download your collected data just go back to your KoboToolbox account online. Advanced users can also install their own KoboToolbox instance on a local computer or server.

KoboToolbox consists of several software tools to help you with your digital data collection. In my experience, the Kobo Collect app works best as a data collection companion on computers and PCs. Simply create your account by using your login parameters and start developing your questionnaire. Use an expert scripter to simplify the process. As the website indicates, you can initiate as many surveys as possible under your account and you will always find them untouched and unadulterated. The reports are in 3D - maps, tables and charts. I love this app!!!

I have been using KoboCollect for an offline data collection from a field. It was amazing until a new updated version automatically changes the old interface. These new changes has resulted the App, unable to rename and save formes as the data collector wanted. Please bring back the old interface or include a renaming and saving by renewing option. Thanks

Please bring back the rename option at the last part as it is easier for us to find/check and edit the forms we previously filled out... in our work, we fill out the same form for like 5-10 times depending on the numbers of stations/barangay we are validating. So I personally utilize the rename option so it is easier for me to find the form and edit it if i missed something or I want to add any remarks. pls... pls..pls.. add it again on your next update.
