Ratings and reviews

This app was really bad. The live stream would stop every few minutes, so I switched to using a different radio app because it was so frustrating. After approximately 6 months, I gave this kqed app a second chance, and it's much better now, but it still crashes occasionally. Usually once per listen, and It's still annoying so I'm going back to the other app.

I live in an area where listening to KQED is difficult, particularly when moving around. Still, I find the poor sound quality of the FM signal preferable to this app. It totally ruins the listening experience. A commercial KQED with regular ad breaks would be preferable to this. Those channels at least stop the program while having a commercial break. Here you get interrupted by ads playing on top of the programs, usually the same ad repeated over and over again every few minutes. Horrible.

I prefer the radio because everytime I use this app it always interrupts the programs. I can not listen to one single program without the app turning off, then turning on again. And other times it does not work at all. I have a brand new Samsung galaxy 22 plus. This is the only app that does not work. I can down load the podcasts for the programs on KQED and I can listen to the entire programs with any issues. I have had other apps for KQED and they all have the same problem.
