This app does exactly one thing: it let's you turn power saving on or off. It's off by default and this device's major selling point is the option of no power draw when the vehicle is off. Lots of reviews complain about the app not being a full OBD analyzer. There are plenty more apps out there for that, and you pay for the better ones.

This app's main purpose is to link the comm dongle to this app then to the diagnostic app on your phone, tablet or computer. My version has a button to put a lock on the dongle for security but I did not start it. This app works but it took a few tries. I had to plug in the dongle under the steering column, look for the red light, check this app that the dongle was connected wirelessly through Bluetooth, then open leafspy and get the DTCs. Follow the instructions.

This device is one of the better ones out there but not easy to get working. Pairing it can be confusing. go into Android Settings/Apps/ LELinkConfig/Permissions and make sure you have given LELinkConfig access to “Location” which is what Android calls access to Bluetooth. And make sure it is disconnected from Leafspy or other apps since the device supports one connection at a time. You want to connect other apps to what will appear as OBDBLE. LELINK2 config is good for testing a connection. You need another app to make it work for you such as OBD Auto Doctor for android
