Ratings and reviews

This app is good for customizing aesthetics. Not good for creating useful, custom widgets to address unique needs. Even the base pack of widgets which is supposed to showcase this apps capabilities is just a bunch of freaking clocks. Also, you can customize basic widgets like weather, battery info. But oh yeah the battery info on widgets made with this app are wildly inaccurate. Apparently my pixel will finish charging in 2 days. In reality takes an hour.

Have used Kustom Widget for years...really love it. It can be a bit daunting to get specific aspects of some widgets set up but once you get a handle on the methods and syntax, it can create some pretty cool widgets. UPDATE: Had a issue with the clock and a couple other system values updating in my widgets. Contacted support and they responded right away. They looked into it and came up with an update that fixed the issue. Great tech support! Communicated clearly, politely and promptly.

My kwgt next event widget doesn't refresh or update when the date and time changed by the system. It's like a dead text box. Running on a Carplay android 13. The box doesn't have backed-up battery to keep date and time alive, so it gets the wrong date and time everytime it boots up and update to the correct one after a few minute. I tested other calendar apps, their widgets work fine.
