About this app

Language Transfer provides free audio courses that teach you to take control of your thought process. There's no sign-up, no ads, and nothing to pay for — just pick a language and start learning!

This app provides the same audio available for free on languagetransfer.org, but allows you to download tracks in advance, save your progress, and listen with your phone locked. If you're ever having trouble with the app, you can always visit languagetransfer.org or find the courses on SoundCloud and YouTube.

We collect some anonymous usage data so we can improve the app and learn about how users are engaging with the lessons. You can learn more in the About section of the app, or turn off this data collection in the Settings pane.

These 10 minute audio lessons have transformed my Spanish learning. For example, I can now explain the use of "se" better than my native speaking friend. And his lessons on ser vs. estar are the best I've ever heard. I love the order of learning he chooses, truly equipping me to dive into the language resources that are already in my head and leverage them to turn them into Spanish. I also love his creation instead of memorization philosophy. I recommend this app to everyone.

I recommend this strategy to everyone who really wants to learn a language. If you just think it's cool to be able to say a few words in another language, there are tons of those apps, and they even do a better job teaching vocabulary; however, if you want to understand a language well enough to figure out what to say in any given situation (and why), this app will help you get to the next level in ways that you can apply in real-life situations. Use both plus immersion where you can.

The Most Unique Language App I've found. I've used all the major language apps and while most are helpful, there is nothing else to compare this to. It will lead you through a system of learning that helps you grasp a new language deeply and directly, with very little memorization needed. This app is challenging, but if you take your time with it, you'll emerge from the program light years ahead. It is ideal for intermediate students, or at least advanced beginners.
