Are you in a long distance relationship (LDR) ? Sappy wants to help!

Sappy helps busy couples connect asynchronously through many features such as:
- Discuss a book or a TV show together. Keep tabs on each other's progress.
- Build a wishlist of places to visit, shows to watch, games to play and more. Never run out of ideas on what to do together.
- Post a letter and write your partner something thoughtful in an old school way. Customize your letter with stamps.
- See your partner's local time and weather on a shared home screen. Customize it with your favorite photo.

Sappy was build by a couple with a long experience of long distance relationship. During our several years of LDR, we discovered that messaging apps are not sufficient to communicate efficiently when apart. We consider that it is essential to connect asynchronously in a LDR and Sappy was made for this purpose. Thanks to the features listed above, you will be able to share your thoughts and feelings despite being worlds apart and not being connected at the same time. LDR is tough but you can get through it!

An amazing app, seriously, my boyfriend and I have been using this app for a few weeks now and we are in love with it. This app has been a lot easier to navigate then most other apps we've tried. One thing I would change though. The letter feature needs to be compatible with spell check. When writing a letter on the app you have for type out everything you want in the letter including characters like, ( ' . ) and it will not capitalize letters for you.

The concepts are cute, however it could definitely use some improvement on the amount of lag, and slow feedback responses. I wish there was a way to have shows sorted by both season AND episode in one activity, as most shows are. I also noticed they say the episode cap is 50, but I can't get anywhere near that. The activity is not able to be created unless I enter around 25 episodes or less? Anything above that registers as 50 unfortunately.

i love this app. i believe it is still in the development phase, but the features it has so far are wonderful. my partner and i are at different colleges and this helps keep us connected. a design and product leader at sappy reached out and asked for advice on how to make the app better and seems to have actually listened to my suggestions. can't wait to see where it goes in the future!!
