Recent problems with the trainer: in the web version, you can't revisit the words you didn't know ("finish" is the only option). Neither the web version nor the app automatically say the vocabulary word in the trainer like it used to. Now you have to click the word, which means you read it first instead of practicing listening. Leo is much less useful now sadly, especially since I've spent years building up my vocabulary lists.

The dictionary itself is quite good, the app with its outdated UI and its "unique" color scheme not so much. The UX isn't great either, tapping on a forum discussion, for example, usually just leads the user to some sort of mobile homepage, not the discussion itself; retrying a couple times usually (but not always) works. The forums are an important part of what the app has to offer, though, as the dictionary entries are sometimes incomplete or missing.

I used to love the app before the redesign. The new design is slow to respond when entering a word to search, and sometimes the mobile keyboard doesn't appear to be able to type a word when tapping the search field. Some of the words have the option for pronunciation, but it is audio-to-text and pronounces the German word with English pronunciation. This app is now more of a headache to use. It used to be reliable, unfortunately not anymore.
