There are just so many annoying things in the app: scrolling events, because they're shorter than my screen, after certain point I can only see the top of one and the bottom of the other, so I have to constantly hold my finger on the screen to view the event fully; background music for some events that I can't turn off, so when I open the app, it plays super loud pop music; force update: I mean, can't the app designed so I don't receive this constantly, it's just a bad UX practice.

It used to be a wonderful app for meeting people, trying new experiences, and apply own creativity. Throughout the whole time using this app (6 months) i faced with many technical obstacles (not responding, crashing, blocks alignment, etc.), however it was forgivable for it's functions. I wasn't surprised of a paid subscription, i understand that you need to earn smth. I was okay with it until recently. But putting limit on 2 activities to join per week is too much! I feel as I am forced to pay!

Locals is reasonably good for finding small activities in select geographic areas - for example London, which is where I live. It's still very much a developing concept, not least because it's only available as an app with no online (desktop) service. This means that it's challenging to use as an event organiser. For now, Eventbrite is the 800lb gorilla in creating and managing local events, and considerably easier to use (and more powerful) than Locals.
