You get one link: app.lokio.org/yourname. Open it and it's you. Photo, name, a line about yourself, and every link you have: Telegram, Instagram, YouTube, work, shop.
It's the link you send instead of "I'm somewhere on Instagram". Put it in a bio, a CV, a chat. There's a QR code too.
And the part no other link page has: a live map of your neighbourhood sits on it, showing how many people are around right now.

Drop a pin: a joke, a thought, an offer, an invitation to an event. It lands on the spot you picked. People nearby see it. Someone replies, a chat opens, sometimes you end up meeting.
WHY PEOPLE OPEN IT
1. JOKES
A joke about the bus stop everyone waits at, a thought in three lines, something only this street would get. After a month the neighbourhood has its own voice.
2. DATING
On dating apps you see the face first and only later find there's nothing to talk about. Here it's the other way round: you read how she jokes about the queue in a coffee shop, you laugh, you reply, and only then look at who wrote it. The conversation starts from something you both find funny, not from "hey, how's it going". No swiping, no forms.
3. IN A CITY THAT ISN'T YOURS
Here for a week, moved for good, or working remotely and knowing nobody. Write your pin in your own language and the people who speak it will find you. The map shows what's on today and who to talk to now.

Open the map. You can look around without an account.
Write one line and put it on the map. You pick the spot, nobody sees your home.
Anyone nearby opens your pin and messages you.
Choose how long it lives. When time runs out, the pin and its chat are gone.
Nothing to say? Reply to someone else. Half the connections here start with a reply, not a pin. If nobody answers, you lost nothing. Usually someone does.
Map looks empty? Then yours is the first pin people see. In a new area first pins get the most replies, because there's nothing else to reply to.
EVERYTHING DISAPPEARS, AND THAT'S THE POINT
Every pin dies. No archive, no history of what you wrote last spring. You see what is happening now, within walking distance.
