About this app

Habit Challenge is a simple, beautiful, and ad-free app that will help you form new productive habits and keep you on track.

🗒 Define Your New Habit

You can define any type of habit you want to integrate into your daily routine. For each habit, you can choose daily occurrence and days of the week when you want to perform it (e.g. exercise once a day on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays; run twice a day on Tuesdays and Thursdays). Each habit can have multiple notifications to remind yourself about it as many times as you want during the day.

↗️ See Your Progress

Next to your habit name you can find a strength-indicator that increases whenever you mark your habit as done. You can scroll right on the day's header or habit days, to see previous days. Want to see even more? Just tap on the habit name to see its details.

📊 Forgot to check your habit?

You can always mark a habit as done. Just scroll it horizontally on the home screen or tap on its name and use a monthly view mark any previous day as done.

Features

✔️ Simple Yes/No or number goals (run once a day or drink seven glasses of water daily)
✔️ Select days of the week for a given habit, from one to seven times per week

2. Select days of the week when you want to perform it
3. Choose how many times per day it should be performed
4. Optionally, add one or more reminders
5. After you perform it on a given day, mark it in the app

Add your email. I previously had a mishap before the ability to link an email address that had all of my progress delete itself. Was very upset but they fixed the issues within a couple weeks. Had quick response from the team when it did happen though which was very nice. Also, for those looking for using it for a bunch of habits, I believe you'll have to pay for the premium(I wanna say it was under $5 cuz im a cheapskate and its permanent if that helps)

Simple and easy to use, but unfortunately it has too little features. The main problem for me is that I can only choose which days of the week I set my goals for. For example, if I have the goal "Get to work before 8am", there is no way to manually unselect the days when the goal does not apply such as holidays, sick days, etc. If I leave those days unmarked (=did not reach the goal) they will falsify my statistics. Won't use the app until fixed.

I don't have data plan, and don't like the idea of apps going online unnecessarily. So when I read this—"No internet needed… Habit Challenge works completely offline"—I thought, "Great!" But when I installed it, then ran it offline, it showed a "wait" graphic till I went online again. 🤷‍♂️ It also has an old-fashioned plain white background, no dark mode (no user options at all, in fact), so using it at night would be like shining a flashlight in your face. Well-meaning, but needs work.
