About this app

LifeTracker is a full-fledged data tracker. You can use it as an advanced habit tracker, but also as an advanced list manager for all sorts of lists and collections.

In LifeTracker, there are two types of categories, depending on the structure of data that you want to track.

CALENDAR CATEGORIES
"Calendar" categories are best suited when you want to track data in a calendar / temporal / "day by day" way (think habit tracker). Some examples :

- "Supplements" category for tracking the supplements you take
- "Exercise" category for tracking your exercise routines
- "Work" category for tracking the time you spent working
- "Distractions" category for tracking the time you spent on distractions

"ABSTRACT LIST" CATEGORIES
An abstract list is just a list of complex entries that each have one or multiple fields. Some examples of abstract lists :

A list of books to read that can also act as list of books that you actually read
A list of seasons (or episodes) of TV shows that you watched, that can also act as list of shows to watch.
Unlike "calendar" categories, abstract lists are not fundamentally tied to time. That being said, it is very common for abstract list entries to have one or more "date" fields.

The layout of entries in an abstract list (how fields are organized visually, how the entry is rendered) can be fully customized using a visual editor.

Moreover, you can create multiple data filters (notice "Future", "Past" and "Current" on the screenshot above) : toggling one data filter will only show entries that match the rules that you have defined for this filter. Also, each filter can be associated with a default sort order and a specific layout.

MULTIPLE DATA TYPE SUPPORTED
- Check box : the classic to simply check if you did something or not
- Timer : start a timer to track the time you spend doing something. When you stop the timer, its data will be registered in the cell you started the timer from.
- Node reference : make a reference to a specific object. Each object can be referenced multiple times, and then you can access the references from the object.
- Numeric, date, text, ...

DATA SYNCING
LifeTracker offers a service to back up your data as well as sync it across your devices. That way you can access the same data whether your are on your phone, tablet or computer.

The backup and sync service uses end-to-end encryption to ensure the privacy of your data.
