These activities allow students to practice reading through various exercises similar to those found in a first or second grade reading book.
The image bank used has been adapted (to the extent of our possibilities) to the cultural context of West Africa.
You will find activities such as:
- Associate a word with its image.
-Find the missing syllable of a word.
-Return the syllables or letters forming a word in order.
-Write the word (dictation).
The words studied are classified by theme: food, body parts, numbers, animals, etc.
These activities were created on a voluntary basis as part of the Afrikalan Project, which aims to make free educational software accessible in West Africa. They are distributed free of charge and on a non-commercial basis, under the terms of the GNU-GPL license.
