MCGI Lift coordinates scheduled volunteer rides for approved adult MCGI members.
Members can request a ride or offer available seats, review a suggested match, and mutually confirm before exact meeting details are shared. The pilot supports passenger and driver roles, ride-specific messaging, boarding verification, trip progress, private safety reports, and account controls.
MCGI Lift is a no-payment community service. There are no fares, tips, reimbursements, driver earnings, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
Foreground location is optional. A driver can choose to appear online in an approved service area, and participants can choose to share progress during an active confirmed trip. Location sharing stops when the app leaves the foreground.
Access is limited to approved adult members. Availability, approved events, and service areas may be limited during the Australia and Philippines pilot.
