About this app
SMore# is an alternative app for your Smart#1, #3 or #5 with the goal to provide the full extent of the control APIs that Smart provides towards your car...and more!
SMore# provides functions for
- locking/unlocking of your car or your boot
- ventilating through windows opening
- opening/closing sunshade (only on #1/5)
- honking and flashing
- switching on/off charging as well as climate, including time schedules
- storing climate favourites setting for fast recall
- seeing car info in dashboard (trip, security, service, ...), including doors/windows open, tyre pressures, ...
- logging charging activity with filtering and map view (only on PRO)
- placing launcher screen widgets to see info and control car functions right from your launcher, including an ad-hoc scheduler for setting a time in the next 24 hours to switch on climate at the selected temperature - very useful to condition the car after a concert or game!
- enabling shortcuts for your home screen or assistant control
- using notification tiles to quickly switch on/off charging, lock/unlock your car, and climate conditioning.
- programming conditions for enabling the climate, depending on your internal car temperature, while charging
to avoid overheating or undercooling of your car
- sending locations to your car, to which you can then navigate! Several methods are supported, see supported methods
- integrating with A Better Route Planner (ABRP), for regularly uploading your Smart data to ABRP for better adjustment of the car data
The app supports six languages right now, namely English, German, French, Dutch, Portugese, and Italian, and it supports dark, light, or system-dependent themes.
This open release aims at getting feedback on what works and what could be better. However, note that the app is provided "as is", thus there is no warranty/liability on functioning nor support per se (this is a hobby effort!).
The app also provides PRO features by purchasing the separate SMore# license key (search in Playstore), which right now enables to show your charge log entries in a map view with filter ability to visualise, e.g., trips etc.
