About this app

DigiHUD Pro Speedometer is a GPS based digital heads-up display (HUD) that shows and can record useful speed and distance information for your journey. Ideal if your vehicle speedo has died, you want to verify your vehicle speed or you just need to know your speed when cycling, running, flying, sailing etc.!

Although we strive to make all readings as accurate as possible they are only as accurate as your device's GPS sensor and should only be regarded as approximations.

Using DigiHUD Pro:
- Swipe the speed left or right to switch between Full, Lite and speed/map split view
- Swipe the speed up or down to switch between HUD (mirrored) and normal displays
- Tap the car icon to open Profiles
- Tap the Pin icon to save this location as a Pin. Long press to see your Pins
- Touch the trip counter to cycle through the three counters
- Long-press the speed unit to choose between MPH, KMH and KTS (also in the Menu)
- Long-pressing on a speed or trip value will reset it
- Long-press the red circle to start/stop logging
- When in window mode touch the DigiHUD Pro icon (top left of the window) for a menu to switch to the full screen app, pause, start/stop logging or exit
- All values can be reset by long-pressing "PAUSE RESET" (except Odometer reading in the Statistics popup).
- The screen will not turn off during long journeys and works in landscape or portrait mode.

Includes all DigiHUD Speedometer features plus:

* Lite Mode (speed only) - swipe the speed left
* Altitude, show clock seconds
* Multiple Speed Warnings - have as many as you like. Set a color, trigger speed, built-in/custom/no alert sound. Trigger on overspeed/underspeed (possibly one for the pilots)

The maps flashes when using Satellite and Terrain mode. And uses a lot of battery compared to the free version. I am using a Pixel 3a xl. The flashing is so annoying, I may ask for a refund. Not worth getting a headache over when the free version works so well. But then again, it is a tossup, because this is a nice app, and I don't have to use the maps in those modes. The battery went from 100 to 77 in an hour's time. I guess still not too bad. I was surprised as that is twice what's normal.

Hi, I've seen the map reloading myself and it's very annoying! I'll try and find out what's causing it. When not using the map I don't know why battery consumption is higher than the free version, it's doing the same amount of work. Thanks for using the app.

Love this app, especially at night for the HUD, heads-up-display. It's such a useful app for driving. My only gripe is that it's too easy to pause the app. I accidently hit it and when I'm driving I don't want to have to reach for the phone. I wish the pause/resume "button" was on the tap once page. But minor issue. This app is still perfect.

Like the fact you can set different colors for different speeds. Just wished it would give "range" for color settings. Have a default color with warning different. Example default blue with warning 34 to 36 bright red then back to blue. Still trying to figure out how to turn map on and off. Currently I just uninstall and then reinstall to turn map off. Other than this a great app.

Hi John, you could set a red over-speed warning at 34 and one at 37 with the blue colour. This is the way I set up my warnings. To switch between screens swipe the speed left or right. Thanks, James.
