Good app, but e-deposit crops incorrectly E-deposit crops images of your check incorrectly, so the guidelines for you to line up the check are useless. It would make depositing checks a lot easier if the image was cropped to the guidelines.
Old version was much better The new version is not nearly as intuitive or user-friendly as the old version, and that goes for BOTH the mobile and desktop sites. Change only for the sake of change is usually a mistake. Making a site more attractive but less useful always is a mistake. That is what happened here. Mistake.
A Step Backwards In Design The new font and flat design is so strange, like a poor attempt to look more like iOS, rather than Android's own "material" design language. In my opinion, it was much better before. Also, on my Galaxy Note 4, the camera for eDeposit appears horizontally stretched until I actually take the picture, then it corrects itself. This makes it very difficult to position my checks properly.
Pleased The easy accessibility to everything within my account provides ease of mind
Can't log-in I was required to create a new user ID (including letters and numbers) instead of the standard account number we used to log-in with, but this app only allows us to enter numbers into the user ID field.... #fail... It won't get a better rating from me until I can actually log-in and use the app 😔
Version 2.0: If it's not broken don't fix it The update is a pretty radical departure from the original MSUFCU app. The update is so cluttered and the font is generally difficult to look at. I just tried to transfer money using the "Move Money" feature, and I realized how much I missed the simplicity of just having 3 tabs at the top that I could easily toggle between. This update tries to do too much, taking away from what needed so little. I'm sure others will agree that the convenience aspect of this app has definitely taken a turn for the worse.
