The new UI and layout of the app is terrible and completely non-intuitive. Fonts/labels and touch targets for common actions are way too small, and the left-hand pull out menu has been broken into two places, which is highly undesirable.
Would rather just have the basics rather than scrolling and clicking to get to what I need. Is this something you did any consumer research on?
I never thought in all my time with this bank they could do something so wrong. 3.0 is a huge leap backwards for this institution. The new features are unnecessary and unhelpful. They also added a promotional area right in the middle of my accounts when I log in. That is not okay for a bank. Never change a good thing unless you want reviews like this one. I'm personally very dissatisfied with MSUFCU just because of this.
Other version 3.0 reviews are spot on. Base your changes on actual user needs! Hire a User Experience consultant or employee immediately and fix this. It's sad to think we all paid for this pointless exercise. I'm avoiding using it now except to transfer money quickly.
Old version was great. Update is clunky, spammy, and ultimately user unfriendly. This is my bank account, not a pay to play app, keep it simple. I've been a member of MSUFCU for 14 years and this is the first time I've been disappointed by them.
TBH I hate the 3.0 update with a burning passion. Within 3 minutes of trying out the new update, let me just say it was one big headache after another. Why rate my checking account? Why is everything so scattered? I don't care much for the snapshots, I can't figure out how to turn the fingerprint log in back on, and what really blows is it doesn't show a grand total anymore from my checking and savings put together. Pls downgrade back or completely redo this update, because this is really upsetting!
In this update of the MSUFCU mobile app, we added a new Total Balances Snapshot so that you can view the totals of your shares and loans. Tapping on this new Snapshot will display the balances of each of your shares and loans in better detail. We also made a change so that tapping on your card image or on a share or loan icon in the Account Summary now takes you directly to the Transaction History screen. We made a few other small enhancements to the app and took care of a few bugs, too.
