About this app

Mormon Women for Ethical Government (MWEG) is a nonprofit, faith-based organization committed to advocating for ethical government and empowering women as peacemakers and engaged citizens. We are guided by our four core principles: faithful, nonpartisan, peaceful, and proactive. We would love to have you join us!

MWEG Central is our official community space where we gather together to build a more peaceful, just, and ethical world. Here you will have the opportunity to connect with principled women from across the nation and the political spectrum. We are working together to build peace in our communities, learn how to affect change, and become more civically engaged. Our shared goals are to help build the Beloved Community and ensure that our democracy is healthy and strong.

This community is warm, supportive and empowering. Here you will have the opportunity to:
- Connect with other MWEG members — including in local chapters
- Discuss difficult issues in a respectful environment, where truth is prioritized. We do hard conversations well
- Access tools and resources that will help you build peacemaking, media literacy, and civic engagement skills
- Attend virtual events
- and more!

If you care about protecting democracy, the environment and sustainability, rooting out racism, fair and compassionate policies for immigrants and refugees, and supporting children and families, we have spaces where your small acts can help make a big impact. You don’t have to do much to help us move things forward.

MWEG gives our members a new, emotionally supportive, and healthy way to be civically engaged. If you would like to participate in the political process but either don’t know how or are anxious about becoming embroiled in negative interactions, this is the place for you. We do politics in a whole new way. Join us!

I am struggling with the app because every time I am scrolling the feed, when I touch the screen to move forward it briefly turns off. This causes a bit of a light flash, which I am sensitive to. It prevents me from using the app because the on and off of the light is disconcerting for me.

This app is working great! Thanks to web l everyone who put it together!
