The app does not work.. Once you can understand and get past that... The unit works on automatic when you plug it in. The hepa filter and system is one of the best in the industry. The unit is worth well over a few hundred dollars and works incredibly well.. Try walking past and farting it turns on high... Too much Cologne in the room area, It's senses and turns on high for sometimes hours or until the air is detected clean.. So yeah... not useless.

Very frustrating! The most recent update added additional modes however it also broke the connection to the app. The 2 auras I have are still running on auto but I can't connect. I tried deleting the location and now I can't even add it back. The support page is "no longer supported" which is amazing. Zero help and no chance to fix it myself. Give me a remote for my $500 filter!

Originally designed to control the Aura Air line-up of air purification & monitoring devices. The app was a first of its kind and, although fairly rudimentary in its interface, it was exceptionally helpful in identifying air quality, particles, humility, weather, etc. Unfortunately, the original small company was sold and the latest owner has all but abandoned both the physical products and this supporting app itself. Users of either the app or devices now find them both mostly useless.
