Neurai Flasher installs and updates firmware on ESP32 boards directly from your
Android phone — no computer, no drivers, no command line. Connect your board with
a USB-C or OTG cable, pick the firmware, and flash.
This first release is built for the Neurai hardware wallet running on the LilyGO
T-Display S3. Future updates will add firmware for Neurai IoT devices.
KEY FEATURES
• Flash over USB — connect an ESP32 board to your phone and write firmware in a
couple of taps.
• Automatic board detection — the app recognizes the connected chip (ESP32, S2,
S3, C3, C6) and shows its details.
• Official firmware catalog — browse and download firmware straight from Neurai's
public releases.
• Integrity you can trust — every download is verified against a published SHA-256
checksum before it is written.
• Works offline — downloaded firmware is cached, so you can re-flash without a
connection.
• Keeps your wallet safe — when you update the Neurai hardware wallet, your
encrypted seed and PIN are preserved. A separate "erase and start fresh" option
is there when you deliberately want to reset a device.
• Post-flash verification — the app reads the flash back and confirms it matches,
so you know the write succeeded.
• Built-in serial monitor — watch your board's log output right after flashing.
• Connection guide — step-by-step help, including how to put a board into boot
mode by hand (BOOT + RESET) when needed.
• Light and dark theme — switch with a single tap.
SUPPORTED HARDWARE
Neurai Flasher works with ESP32-family boards over USB, including boards with a
USB-to-UART bridge (CP210x, CH340, FTDI) and chips with native USB (ESP32-S2, S3,
C3, C6). The reference device for this release is the LilyGO T-Display S3.
PRIVACY FIRST
Neurai Flasher collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no
advertising, and no tracking. Internet access is used only to download the public
firmware catalog and the firmware files you choose. Everything else stays on your
phone.
REQUIREMENTS
• An Android phone with USB host (OTG) support.
• A data-capable USB cable or OTG adapter for your board.
Prefer to flash from a desktop browser? A web version is available at
flasher.neurai.org.
Note: iOS is not supported, because Apple does not allow third-party apps to
access USB serial devices. Neurai Flasher is Android-only by design.
