About this app
"My ID" is an independent application for identity verification from J TOWNSON CONSULTING LTD. This is not a state or official service.
The application helps to confirm your identity and demonstrates work with the NFC chip of the document. During verification, the application:
• takes a photo of your document (international passport, ID card or ID card) and reads the number;
• records a short video selfie with a "liveliness" check (blinking and smiling);
• reads the contactless NFC chip of the document.
Why are permissions needed:
• Camera - for a photo of the document and a video selfie;
• NFC - for reading the document chip.
Your data is transmitted over a secure connection (HTTPS) and is used only for identity verification. You can delete your data at any time simply in the application.
