About this app

NP Wallet is a digital identity wallet for your phone. Keep important personal information like your name, date of birth, or official documents such as an ID card or driving licence in one place, and prove who you are or share only the specific details a service actually needs.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Store digital cards and credentials securely on your device.
- Share only the information that is required, and nothing more. For example, prove you are over 18 without revealing your full date of birth.
- Review every request before you agree: see who is asking, what they want, and why.
- Keep a clear activity log of everything you have shared and with whom.

WHY IT IS USEFUL
- You share only what is needed, not your whole identity.
- No need to upload scans of your passport or other documents.
- Your credentials are digitally signed, which makes them harder to fake.
- Built on open European Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet standards, so it is designed to work across the EU.

PRIVACY AND SECURITY
- You stay in control: you choose what to share, with whom, and when.
- Your data stays on your device and is protected by your PIN and your phone's built-in security.
- You are responsible for keeping your device secure.
- The app processes personal data only as described in the privacy statement available inside the app.

HOW IT WORKS
Affiliated organisations offer a "use wallet" option. Selecting it, or scanning a QR code, opens the request inside NP Wallet. You review the organisation's details, the requested data, and the terms. You can agree or decline. If you agree, the transaction is confirmed and recorded in your activity overview. You are always in control.
